The 22nd annual session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly is opening in Istanbul on Saturday.

The Armenian delegation is already in Istanbul, head of the delegation Artashes Geghamyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Settlement of the protracted conflicts in the OSCE area, including Karabakh conflict, will be one of the issues to be discussed during the session. The issue will be discussed within general committee on political affairs and security.

Rapporteur Vilija Aleknaite Abramikiene will present a draft resolution, including the issue on protracted conflicts.

OSCEPA will include a special session titled “Increasing the dialogue and cooperation: Joint message to the world against racism, xenophobia and intolerance”, Anadolu agency reported.

The meeting will be attended by Turkish Speaker Cemil Cicek, Director of Religious Affairs Mehmet Gormez, Fener Greek Patriarch Bartholomeos, Vicar of the Armenian Orthodox Church Aram Atesyan, Chief religious leader of Turkey's Jewish community Isak Haleva and Deputy Assyrian Catholic Patriarch Yusuf Sag.
