YEREVAN. – Foreign currency transactions were not conducted at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday.

Even though this is the second consecutive day when the stock exchange does not see any trading, the exchange rate of the American national currency still tends to gain value in Armenia.   

The dollar was demanded at AMD 411.25/$1 on Tuesday, but the minimum offer rate was at AMD 411.50/$1.    

The US currency gained value on an average of AMD 0.50 at the cash foreign currency market of Armenia. The dollar is bought at AMD 410.5/$1 and sold at AMD 413/$1.
