YEREVAN. – Armenian Education Minster responded to Parliament Speaker Hovik Abrahamyan’s remarks concerning “the plundered budget.”

During the Wednesday press conference, Minister Armen Ashotyan insisted the budget is not plundered, urging the journalists not to demand commenting on the remarks of other officials.

“I am expressing my personal opinion: the budget is not plundered,” he emphasized.

Ashotyan said he considers improper to answer whether Abrahamyan’s remarks would provoke misunderstanding within the Republican Party of Armenia. The Minister stressed that the ruling party consists of individuals, not clones.
