YEREVAN. – Armenian American businessman Serob Ter-Poghosyan, who was sentenced to 15 years’ imprisonment on pedophilia charges, has been in hospital for a month.
He underwent a surgery after being diagnosed with intestinal cancer. He had another tumor and underwent a surgery for the second time. Ter-Poghosyan would be soon discharged from hospital, Deputy Director of the medical center Onik Melkonyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The owner of Akhtala Metal Prince mining plant, Armenian American businessman Serob Ter-Poghosyan was accused of sex with underage boys. Serob Ter-Poghosyan was charged on 140 and 139 articles of Criminal Code of Armenia and was sentenced to 15 years in jail.
