YEREVAN. – The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representatives in Azerbaijan are holding talks with the country’s MOD, to decide on the day of the first get-together with Hakob Injighulyan.

The ICRC Yerevan delegation told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Red Cross representatives also stated that they will not provide any information on the date of this gathering.

“The Red Cross will make its next statement when the meeting is already over,” they added.   

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, Armenian soldier Hakob Injighulyan (born in 1991) found himself in the territory under the control of the adversary. According to preliminary information, Injighulyan turned up there on August 8 at around 3am, while carrying out his military service, by crossing the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR)-Azerbaijan border, and as a result of losing his orientation in the area. An investigation is underway to determine the details of the incident, the NKR MOD press service had informed.
