YEREVAN. – A fire had started at the rooftop of a wood workshop nearby “Arzni Group” Mineral Water Factory in Armenia.   

The initial call in this respect was received on Saturday at 7:15am, informs the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Seven fire and rescue squads, a response team, two automatic ladder vehicles, and an operative team were dispatched to the scene.  

Two municipality water trucks likewise took part in the firefighting activities.   

The fire was extinguished at 8:58am.

But as a result of the fire, the 200-square-meter roof of the two-story building, which belongs to G. A., was destroyed and a 50-square-meter portion of the ceiling had collapsed.  

On the second floor of the building—that is, in the 150-square-meter furniture manufacturing workshop belonging to A. M.—construction materials were destroyed by fire and tools were overheated.
