YEREVAN. – Last year 32 films were released in Armenia, while their production was started in 2007-2008.
According to the National Statistical Service, 37 films were shot in 2011, although the most productive was 2008, when 40 movies were made.
The average film budget in 2012 was about $ 60,000, which two times more than in 2008
Two film production companies are operating in Armenia: National Film Center and “Hayk” Documentary Film Studio.
