YEREVAN. – Armenia registered a 9.3-percent inflation in August 2013, National Statistical Service said in a report.
Consumer prices in Armenia increased by 10 percent, alcohol and tobacco by 5.9 percent, non-food products by 4.3 percent and services by 11.2 percent.
As compared with July, the prices went up by 0.3 percent, while consumer prices fell by 1 percent. This is explained by deflation of price of sugar, agricultural products, flour and sunflower oil.
