STEPANAKERT. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), or Artsakh, President Bako Sahakyan released a message of congratulations in connection with the Day of the Artsakh Republic. 

“Dear compatriots,

“On behalf of the authorities and myself I cordially congratulate you on the Day of the Artsakh Republic.

This is a magnificent state holiday, which we traditionally celebrate with deep pride and responsibility. We pride of the heroic people who gained freedom and independence through the blood of their brave sons and nowadays keep carving their own future. We feel responsibility for strengthening the statehood created through great sacrifices, developing the native land, and leaving a strong and prosperous homeland for the generations to come.

“We are full of determination and perseverance to solve together all these issues successfully, to settle them with daily painstaking work, with the active support of our sisters and brothers from Armenia and the Diaspora.

“On this festive day I once again congratulate our entire nation and wish it peace, good health and all the best, strength and prosperity to the Artsakh Republic,” President Sahakyan’s message reads.

To note, on Monday the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic marks the 22nd anniversary of its declaration.
