YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan released a statement of congratulations in connection with the 22nd Independence Day anniversary of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic, or Artsakh.

“The Republic of Artsakh became sturdy by the triumphs accomplished in the imposed war and it proved its viability.

“Artsakh was able to establish state institutions, favorable conditions for human rights and fundamental freedoms, [and] opportunities for the effective implementation of the economic potential. Today, Free Artsakh has entered a development phase.

“We continue to draw the attention of the international community on the policy of those that preach Armenian phobia at state level, and stress yet again that we do not want war, but we do not fear war,” PM Sargsyan’s message states, in particular.
