YEREVAN. – A minimum age of 18 will be set for entering police service in Armenia.

The Police have submitted for the approval of Thursday’s Cabinet session a bill on making an amendment in the Law on Police.   

Considering the peculiarities of carrying out service in the police force, the bill sets a minimum age for entering police service in the country.

At present, the maximum age for entering police service in Armenia is 30, but there is no minimum age.
