Presidents of Russia and Armenia Vladimir Putin and Serzh Sargsyan confirmed commitment to resolution of Karabakh conflict exclusively by peaceful means.
“The Presidents of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Armenia confirmed their commitment to the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict by peaceful means in the format of the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group based on principles of non-use of force or threat of force, territorial integrity, equality and the right of peoples to self-determination taken as a whole,” reads the statement issued after the meeting of Armenian and Russian leaders.
In order to ensure regional stability and security, the sides stated readiness to further strengthening of cooperation and improvement of interaction in political field and defense sector.
