Moscow hopes that all members of the Customs Union will support Yerevan’s decision to join the union, Russian FM Sergey Lavrov said.

“The procedures that exist in the Customs Union - an appeal to the leadership of the three founding members of the Customs Union, the Eurasian Economic Commission, are coming into force. But the political decision has been made in Armenia and Russia. We hope it will be supported by all members of the Customs Union ,” RIA Novosti quotes Lavrov.

The statement issued by presidents of Armenia and Russia on Tuesday said Armenia has an intention to join the Customs Union and participate in formation of the Eurasian Economic Union.
