YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday convened a consultation meeting devoted to Lake Sevan issues.
The discussants examined the avenues for restoring the endemic fish population of Lake Sevan and its key issues, informs the Presidential Press Office.
The participants in the consultation reflected on the preliminary results of the pilot program toward breeding Lake Sevan’s endemic fish. They also discussed the comprehensive program toward restoring these fish.
Together with resolving the abovementioned problems if the program is implemented, the President also underscored the creation of many new jobs and the promotion of economic development in Gegharkunik Region.
