YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan on Saturday issued a message of congratulations to President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil.
Sargsyan released the address in connection with Brazil’s national holiday, the Independence Day.
To note, John VI (Portuguese: Dom João VI), King of the United Kingdom of Portugal, Brazil and the Algarves from 1816 to 1822, returned to Lisbon in 1821 and left Brazil to his successor.
And on September 7, 1822, his successor declared Brazil’s independence as an empire, and he was enthroned as King Pedro I of Brazil.
