YEREVAN. – At this stage the EU delegation to Armenia would not like to speculate over terms of Twinning project, since the process of consultations with the partners is ongoing and first we need to review those programs that are directly linked to the AA/DCFTA, says the message sent by EU delegation in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am’s inquiry.

The representatives of EU delegation once again confirmed that the claims about any suspension of the project are not true.

“What is true is that we need to review those programmes which are directly linked to the signature of the AA/DCFTA and together with the Armenian authorities consider what to do. And the process of these discussions and consultations continues,” the message reads.

The EU delegates said a twinning project usually runs for a period of 2 years (depending on the needs) and has a budget of 1 million euro on average.
