YEREVAN. – The Armenian MOD Investigation Service presented details on the death of a soldier in the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.  

As a result of the shots that were fired by conscript, Private Tigran Hakobyan, at a combat position of a military unit on Sunday at around 3:10am, same military unit’s conscript Khachatur Khachatryan (born in 1994) sustained wounds, MOD Investigation Service Senior Officer Meri Sargsyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

And as a result of the wounds he had sustained, Khachatryan died at the military hospital, on the same day at around 5am. 

The MOD Investigation Service has opened a criminal case in connection with this incident, and an investigation is launched.
