Armenia will present its debut-dollar bonds in the next few weeks, the authors of Wall Street Journal’s Money Beart blog write. However, the matter is how the new bonds will be nicknamed.

The authors recall that dollar bonds issued outside the US often have nicknames: Kangaroo Bonds from Australia or Samurai Bonds from Japan.

As to Armenia, the experts say the most famous things about Armenia are apricots and “Los Angeles’s finest, the Kardashians.”

“So, sorry everyone, but Kardashian Bond it is,” the authors write.
