YEREVAN. – The Central Bank of Armenia publicized the indicators for business activity and business climate in the country.  

Accordingly, the business activity index made up 58.2 in the second quarter of 2013, attesting to a primarily optimistic mood. Nonetheless, it has dropped by 1.5 points as compared to the previous quarter. The highest activity rate was recorded in industry, and the lowest, in construction.

Armenia’s business climate indicator comprised 53.7, which is a 1.8-point drop from the previous quarter. The highest business climate rate was recorded in industry, and the lowest, in construction, in this domain, too.
