YEREVAN. – The Armenian Agriculture Ministry State Service on Food Safety is not accountable for the Armenian cheese that were banned in the US, notes the statement which the service has released.
“The service is not accountable for the transportation, storage and vending conditions of the exported goods,” the statement specifically reads.
The service also commented on the US ban on the importing of the carbonated non-alcoholic beverages produced by an Armenian company, and on the grounds that these beverages contain color materials that are either banned, or are not indicated, under US legislation.
The Armenian State Service on Food Safety informed that, pursuant to Armenia’s legislation, the given color materials are considered permissible.
