YEREVAN. – From January to August 2013, the passenger flow at Armenian capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport totaled 1,070,000 people, informs the Armenian General Department of Civil Aviation.

As a result, the passenger flow reduced by about 40,000 people, or 3.6 percent, as compared to the same period last year.

The number of passengers that departed from Zvartnots made up 552,600 people, and the passengers that arrived in the airport constituted 518,100 people.

As a result, the number of those that departed exceeded those that arrived by 34,500 people. To note, last year this difference was 51,800 people.
