“A giant, Zangezur copper-molybdenum combine, has been raised in the city. But such plants are raised with hard work that you invested in the development of natural resources on your land for the needs of our country. I am sure that you will not recognize the town in 30 years. Similarly, as it  changed over the past 30 years. During the Soviet time, the plant was producing a maximum of 8-8.5 million tons of ore, but now it comes to 20 million,” President said addressing the residents.

Nearly 3,500 residents of the town having a population of 8,100 are working at the plant.
