YEREVAN. – ARF Dashnaktsutyun sees no problems with the personality of a new candidate for the position of Prosecutor General.

Armen Rustamyan said the problem is presidential system in the country.

“We need reforms. I do not believe the brave will come and change the system,” he said.

On Tuesday President Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday nominated Military Prosecutor Gevorg Kostanyan’s candidacy as the new Prosecutor General of Armenia.

Rustamyan admitted that Kostanyan is less experienced than his predecessor Aghvan Hovsepyan, adding that new candidate has more fresh ideas.

Secretary of Prosperous Armenia faction Naira Zohrabyan said they had not made a decision on his candidacy, but “had received several answers” during the meeting with Kostanyan.
