YEREVAN. – Voting on Armenian president’s proposal on amnesty has been postponed to Thursday, Justice Minister Hrayr Tovmasuan said on Wednesday asking lawmakers to postpone the vote.
The document will be reviewed taking into account a number of proposals of the MPs and will be submitted to the president.
His suggestion has been approved, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported.
As reported earlier, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Monday submitted, for National Assembly discussions, the proposal to declare amnesty in Armenia on the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of independence.
