YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Thursday visited the Prosecutor General’s Office and introduced newly appointed Prosecutor General Gevorg Kostanyan to board members of the Prosecutor General’s Office.  

The President congratulated Kostanyan for being appointed to this accountable post and wished him success.   

Sargsyan expressed the hope that the new attorney general will be able to effectively address the challenges before the system.    

Serzh Sargsyan also thanked former Prosecutor General Aghvan Hovsepyan for his long years of activities, and stressed that Hovsepyan still has work to do within Armenia’s judicial system.
