YEREVAN. – The policy that is conducted in Armenia indicates that there is no sound [political] opposition in the country.
Opposition bloc Armenian National Congress former member Yerjanik Abgaryan stated the aforesaid during a press conference on Thursday.
Abgaryan also spoke about the civil society in the country.
“The civic movement in Armenia unconsciously, involuntarily serves the [country’s] authorities. [The civic movement] is a just, an important matter. But now when the matter of the country’s future is being resolved, it diverts the attention; that is why they [i.e., the authorities] are encouraging [it].
“Environmental and other matters are carried out with the civic movement, but the policy does not change; it is ruled out,” Yerjanik Abgaryan stated, in particular.
