YEREVAN. – Parliamentary faction of Heritage party plans to introduce legislative initiative to replace the four-day sessions of the National Assembly with three days, head of the faction said.

“On the fourth day deputies are already tired and are unable to sit in the room and work,” Ruben Hakobyan told the briefing on Friday.

Once again, commenting on the decision of the Speaker to exclude Zaruhi Postanjyan from the delegation to PACE, Hakobyan noted that according to the procedure, the Speaker of parliament should address the Heritage faction and then to nominate someone to replace Postanjya.

“We have not received any response form the Speaker yet,” Hakobyan emphasized.

At the same time he ruled out the possibility that the authorities are using this incident to control the staff of parliamentary delegations.
