YEREVAN. – Even though Armenia is proud of the results of the combat against illegal drug trafficking, the fight against this threat must be consistent. 

President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan noted the aforesaid Friday during his talk with Viktor Ivanov, Director of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation (FSKN RF).

To note, Ivanov is in Armenia to attend the “Canal-Caucasus” local anti-drug operation being held these days in capital city Yerevan. 

The President underscored the conducting of the above-said event in Yerevan, and welcomed all the measures that are taken to against this universal vice.     

The interlocutors highlighted the activities of the Yerevan-based international coordination staff of the “Canal-Caucasus” local anti-drug operation. 

Serzh Sargsyan and Viktor Ivanov also gave a high assessment to the collaboration between Armenia’s Police and the FSKN RF.
