YEREVAN. – I disgraced Serzh Sargsyan with my query? A disgrace is the fact that 35 percent of our population is poor and hungry. Serzh Sargsyan himself is the one who disgraces us.

Zaruhi Postanjyan—who is Armenia’s opposition Heritage Party National Assembly Faction Secretary and member of Armenia’s NA delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)—said the aforementioned during a press conference on Monday.

“We are disgraced and discredited since a long time. We have reached such point because of those disgraceful persons,” she added.

To the query as to whether she has proofs that Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan has actually lost €70 million in gambling, Postanjyan stated that known facts are not subject for proof.

In the opposition MP’s words, with his response, Sargsyan showed his moral character, acknowledged that he had lost millions, that he does not have millions, that he would be happy if he had millions, and that he measures people’s evilness and goodness with millions.

As per Zaruhi Postanjyan, Serzh Sargsyan considers the Armenian people as something to gamble at a gaming hall; that is, a policy of losing the Armenian person is adopted.

To note, during the question and answer session at the PACE plenary session in Strasbourg, France, on October 2, Zaruhi Postanjyan had asked Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan the following question:

“You have appeared here [in the PACE session] not by the will of the people, but [rather] as a consequence of organized crime, the theft of the Armenian people’s vote. Therefore you cannot de jure represent the will and right of the Armenian people. [So,] I’ll give you another question. Have you been to a casino in Europe and lost 70 million euros there? And who paid that amount in your stead?”
