YEREVAN. – The Yerevan delegation of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) refrained from commenting on the incident near Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
Earlier APA agency said ICRC representatives “have started talks regarding the incident on Azerbaijan-Armenia contact line.” Media contact person for the ICRC Delegation to Azerbaijan Ilaha Huseynova told the agency that ICRC had already been informed about the incident: “Representatives of ICRC Delegation to Azerbaijan arrived in Gazakh region, where the incident occurred.”
Earlier INTERFAX Azerbaijan quoting ANS reported about the incident that allegedly took place in early hours of Sunday. One of the injured was hospitalized. The 30-year-old Hagani Megeramov was not affected and is giving testimony. The whereabouts of 40-year-old Ali Aliyev are unknown. He is supposedly in the neutral zone.
