YEREVAN. – The 8th two-day plenary meeting of the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors (CCPE) kicked off Tuesday in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.

The participants will discuss the CCPE draft Opinion No.8 on relations between prosecutors and media, informs the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia.

Gevorg Kostanyan, Prosecutor General of Armenia, and Philippe Boillat, Director General of Human Rights and Rule of Law of the Council of Europe (CoE), delivered opening remarks at the event.

Delegations from about forty CoE member countries and representatives from the CoE General Secretariat have arrived in Yerevan to attend the plenary meeting, which is convened in Armenia’s capital city for the second time.
