YEREVAN. – In Saint Petersburg, Russia, Armenian National Assembly (NA) Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov was reelected Vice-Chairman of the Standing Committee of Defense and Security Affairs of the Inter-parliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS).

Sharmazanov was reelected to this post at the recommendation of Committee Chairman Viktor Cherkesov representing the Russian Federation, informs the NA press service.    

To note, Eduard Sharmazanov, who is in Saint Petersburg on a working visit, on Tuesday attended the session of the IPA CIS Standing Committee of Defense and Security Affairs.
