YEREVAN. – Several foreign companies are interested in the airplanes of Armavia Airline Company, an informed Company source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

As for the chances of Armavia returning to the aviation market, the source considered this to be highly unlikely.  

“[Armavia proprietor] Mikhail Baghdasarov is strongly against returning to aviation,” the source added.

To note, Armavia Airline Company, which was Armenia’s former national carrier, suspended its flights as of April 1 and declared about starting a process of bankruptcy. The company had financial difficulties in recent times, due to which many of its flights were being canceled.
