YEREVAN. – Armavia Airline Company is continuing to pay the unpaid salaries of its employees, an informed Company source told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

The source added that the payments are made according to plan; that is, twice a week. 

“After the payment of the wage arrears, the company will be declared bankrupt,” the source noted. 

In addition, the unused Company airplane tickets are being reimbursed. 

The source informed that they are now reimbursing the tickets that were registered in the company’s tills in April.   

To note, Armavia Airline Company, which was Armenia’s former national air carrier, suspended its flights as of April 1 and declared about starting a process of bankruptcy. The company had financial difficulties in recent times, due to which many of its flights were being canceled.
