YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan on Friday visited the Ministry of Diaspora, and participated in an event devoted to the five-year activity of the ministry.  

Before that, however, Sargsyan toured the ministry and the exhibition representing the ministry’s activities of the past five years.  

In his address at the event, the President spoke about the tasks that are set before the Armenian Ministry of Diaspora, its past track-record and its accomplishments, informs the Press Office of the President.      

Serzh Sargsyan expressed confidence that the ministry will implement greater projects in the future and wished it new achievements. 

At the end of the anniversary event, the President of Armenia presented high state awards and presidential certificates of appreciation to a group of Diaspora Ministry employees and several compatriots.
