YEREVAN. – The delegations of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) in Armenia and Azerbaijan continue confidential dialogue with the authorities of two states in connection with the border incident.
“The confidential dialogue continues. The sides have displayed constructive approach,” head of communication program of the Yerevan office Zara Amatuni told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The incident on border between Armenia and Azerbaijan occurred on October 6. According to Azerbaijani media, three citizens of Azerbaijan tripped a mine. One of the injured was hospitalized. The 30-year-old Hagani Megeramov was not affected. The whereabouts of 40-year-old Ali Aliyev are unknown. He is supposedly in the neutral zone. Azerbaijani media said they are shepherds.
Most likely, the confidential dialogue is related to evacuation of the body which is in the neutral zone.
