YEREVAN. – An unusual incident was registered on Thursday in Ijevan, a city in Armenia’s Tavush Region.

An alert saying a fox came into one of the furniture stores was received on Thursday afternoon, Emergency Situations Ministry’s press service informed.

The rescuers who hurried to the site found a jackal in the store. They caught the jackal and transported it to the territory far from the settlements.

Apparently, the animal was driven by hunger, as there is less and less food for the animals due to the efforts of poachers and “legitimate” hunters.
