ABOVYAN. – A fatal traffic accident occurred, on Friday at around 7pm, in Armenia’s Kotayk Region, the regional police department told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

They informed that the driver of an unidentified vehicle ran over Arinj village resident Suren Ghazaryan, 46, in the vicinity of a hotel complex nearby a gas station.   

As a result, Ghazaryan died on the spot, whereas the driver left him helpless and drove away. 

A criminal case is launched in connection with the incident.

The police further informed that Suren Ghazaryan was working at the said gas station and was returning home from work.
