Armenia is ranked 95th in the Legatum Prosperity Index which gives assessment of global wealth and wellbeing in 142 countries.
Armenia went up three places on the Prosperity Index this year to 95th.
The country climbed eleven places on the Health sub-index to 87th, the result of fewer incidences of tuberculosis and a fall in undernourishment.
However, the country fell four places on the Safety & Security sub-index, to 65th. This was caused by a growth state violence and increase in refugees, the report says. Armenia’s best ranking is 42nd place in education.
Norway ranks first in overall prosperity, and is followed by Switzerland and Canada.
Azerbaijan is ranked 81st and Georgia is 84th.
