YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Justice Ministry started inventory of the international agreements for signing within the framework of the Customs Union, Minister Hrayr Tovmasyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Ministry has not started editing the Armenian legislation in line with the background of the Customs Union yet. This will be done after the date of joining Customs Union and of signing the relevant agreement is determined, Tovmasyan said.

“Now we are holding an inventory of international treaties that will have to be ratified and are making translations,” Tovmasyan added.

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan voiced Armenia’s intention to join the Customs Union on September 3. Speaking at the Justice Ministry several days later, President Sargsyan said the moe will require around 50 new legal acts.
