YEREVAN. – A call was received informing that two vehicles had crashed, on Thursday at around 10:30pm, nearby Mastara village of Armenia’s Aragatsotn Region, that there were affected, and rescuers were needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informed the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.

It was found out that a BMW and a Mercedes had crashed into one another.

Before the fire and rescue squad’s arrival on the scene, however, BMW’s driver H. S. and passenger A. K., Mercedes’ driver A. D., 30, and passengers E. A., 29 and A. G., 45, were removed from the vehicles, by local efforts, and transferred to the medical centers in Talin and Gyumri cities.        

But BMW’s driver H. S. died, whereas A. G. is in critical condition.
