YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia received a call, on Tuesday at 12:19am, informing that four people had gotten lost on Mount Aragats, and rescuers were needed.
Three fire and rescue workers and an operative team were dispatched to the probable scene, the MES Rescue Service informs.
But due to the difficult terrain and because of low visibility in the area, the search and rescue operation was halted at around 6am, but it resumed at around 7am.
At around 8:45am, however, the four people that were lost had managed to reach Ujan village on their own.
As a result, the search operation was ended.
