YEREVAN. – President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan has nominated Control Chamber (CC) Chairman Ishkhan Zakaryan for the same office.

Gohar Poghosyan, Head of the National Assembly Information and Public Relations Department, told the aforesaid to Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

To note, Ishkhan Zakaryan on Tuesday was in no hurry to refute the news about his being reappointed to this post. In response to the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent’s congratulations on his reappointment, Zakaryan had said: “But how do you know? The term of office ends today [i.e., Tuesday]. The President will present [his nominee to this post] by the end of the day, or tomorrow morning.” The CC chief had not wished to inform whether or not he already had met with President Serzh Sargsyan. “We should not rush into anything. You, I, everyone will know,” Zakaryan had added.
