YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan received Italian Ambassador Bruno Scapini, who is ending his diplomatic mission in Armenia.

The PM praised the diplomat’s activities toward expanding Armenian-Italian relations, informs the Armenian Government press service. 

In turn Scapini thanked the Government of Armenia for the close cooperation, and noted that relations between the two countries have developed. The ambassador recalled that the Armenian-Italian Chamber of Commerce has been established, and stated that the Italian tourist flow to Armenia increases each year.    

The ambassador also informed that, within the framework of the events to be held on the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide, a huge evening of Armenian music is planned to be held in 2015 in Verona, Italy.

PM Tigran Sargsyan thanked the ambassador for his contribution to the development of Armenian-Italian relations, and he wished Bruno Scapini success in his future endeavors.
