April 6, NKR President Bako Sahakyan visited the village of Tumi in Hadrut region and met with rural community members.

The head of the village informed the President of activities carried out last year and plans for 2010, NKR presidential information department informs NEWS.am. Thereafter, the opinion exchange on development of rural area and the country overall was held.

Sahakyan noted that rural development is one of the pinpoints in country’s social and economic advancement.

Same day President Sahakyan also visited Stepanakert gallery and attended the solemn opening ceremony of female art workers’ exhibition dedicated to Maternity and Beauty Day.
