Russian President Vladimir Putin had a telephonic conversation with his Ukrainian counterpart, Petro Poroshenko.
They discussed the priority actions that need to be taken to stop the bloodshed in Eastern Ukraine, reported RIA Novosti news agency of Russia.
“A proposal was made to discuss the military and humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. The views of the leaders of the two countries have significant similarities with respect to the possible ways out of the difficult crisis,” said Dmitry Peskov, the press attaché for Putin.
