Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko believes that his country will maintain its territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence.
“All residents of the Donbas [i.e., the Donets Basin] want peace 100 percent. I stand ready to fight for my country and am confident that a large cross-section of the Ukrainian population likewise thinks this way.
“Territorial integrity, sovereignty, and the Ukrainian independence will remain as they are,” Poroshenko wrote in his Facebook account.
