YEREVAN. – Even the Italian masters have no complaints about the quality of Armenian sewing, Armenian Light Industry Employers Union Co-Chair Hovsep Poghosyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Poghosyan noted that Italian consultants recently came to Armenia, and within the framework of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and they taught new sewing techniques.
“They gave tips on everything, except for the quality; there was no dissatisfaction with the quality,” Poghosyan added.
As per the expert, now his organization’s objective is to collaborate with the Armenian factory owners and designers from abroad.
“But at least something should be shown to them [in Armenia]; sustainable enterprises, design specialists, and most importantly, [relevant] educational institutions,” Hovsep Poghosyan said.
