YEREVAN. – Armenia has facilitated conditions for investment programs, Deputy Finance Minister Vakhtang Mirumyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
He recalled tha,t according to the changes in the law on VAT that was adopted at the autumn session of parliament, business entities are eligible for tax deferral under the investment program of any size.
“Of course, not every import of goods is an investment program. The Ministry of Finance has established clear criteria for this, including the range of goods,” Mirumyan added. Mirumyan.
Earlier the companies could get tax deferral only by applying for an investment program exceeding 300 million drams. Starting January 1, the limit is reduced to 200 million drams (around $435,000).
