STEPANAKERT. - The tension on the contact line of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic and Azerbaijan has significantly reduced compared to previous days, Karabakh MOD informed Armenian News - NEWS.am.

According to the Defense Ministry, there were about 180 cases of the ceasefire violation by the enemy. The violations include 1,700 shots by Azerbaijan against Karabakh with the use of firearms of different caliber. Despite the impressive volume of violations, there is a clear reduction when compared to massive use of fire by Azerbaijan earlier this week.

According to the MOD, advanced units of the Karabakh State Army keep the control over the situation on the border.
